Position Title:             Bio Dept Student Worker

Semester/Year:                     2025/26 Academic Year

Positions Available:  3

Job Location:             Rosenberg & Eaton

Supervisor:                Pat Wallace

Payrate:                     $15.50 per hour

Start Date:                 August 28, 2025

End Date:                   June 30, 2026

Hours Per Week:       ~5hr per week

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist in setting up and tearing down Bio Dept labs, cleaning lab-ware, restocking supplies, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Be enrolled in or have passed Intro to Bio 167.
  • Be in good academic standing.
  • Be physically able to lift & move routine tabletop lab equipment, glassware, etc.
  • Manual dexterity 
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Well-organized
  • Responsible
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Possess extremely strong communication skills and be willing to take initiative
  • Strong customer service orientation; positive, helpful, resourceful
  • Highly reliable, flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Manual dexterity
