Hours per wk: 2-3

Position Summary

The Media and Society Program projectionist is responsible for running the KINO FISH screening series events, which are scheduled for Monday nights during the fall semester. 

Responsibilities

• The projectionist coordinates with the series director to make sure they have access to the film being screened; 
• opens the space for the screening; 
• uses the equipment in the room to screen the film; 
• attends the screening; and, closes the space after the screening is over. 
• The projectionist will be trained on the equipment. 

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills. 
• Attention to detail. 
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision. 
• Reliability and evening availability are required.
