Position Title: WHWS Radio Student Manager

Semester/Year: Fall 2025 

Total Positions Available: 1

Supervisor: Kelly Walker

Pay rate: $15.50 per hour 

Hours per wk: up to 20 hrs

Start Date: Immediately 

End Date: 12/20/2025

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Oversee WHWS student staff and DJs and Producers 
  • Manage WHWS student broadcast schedule 
  • Maintain regular office hours 
  • Act as primary liaison between students WHWS General Manager 
  • Meet regularly with WHWS General Manager 
  • Organize regular meet ups for WHWS students 
  • Promote awareness of WHWS to the campus community

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One year experience working as a DJ / Producer / Sports Announcer at WHWS 
  • Familiar with all elements of Microsoft Outlook 
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills 
  • Willingness and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
