Position Title: WHWS Student Social Media Manager

Pay rate: $15.50 per hour
Hours per wk: up to 20 hrs
Start Date: Immediately
End Date: 12/20/2025
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee WHWS social media accounts
- Maintain whws.fm website
- Maintain regular office hours
- Advise WHWS General Manager on existing and emerging social media platforms
- Meet regularly with WHWS General Manager and WHWS Student Station Manager
- Assist with outreach to the campus community including student clubs and organizations, and academic departments and programs
- Promote awareness of WHWS to the campus community
QUALIFICATIONS
- One year experience working as a DJ / Producer / Sports Announcer at WHWS
- Familiar with currently popular social media platforms
- Fundamental understanding of website design and maintenance
- Photography and videography skills highly desired
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
- Willingness and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
