Position Title: RFK Weight Room Monitor (Federal Work Study position for Hobart Athletics and William Smith Athletics)

POSITION SUMMARY
This is a federal work-study position within the HWS Athletics Department. Eligible individuals should possess excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills and/or have previous experience working in a similar setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Coaches with daily setup,breakdown and cleaning of weight room equipment.
- Support data collection and implementation within the S&C department.
- Organization of digital files.
- Organization and layout of weight room equipment.
- Help assist with the general maintenance of RFK & RFK 2.0 to ensure it is both safe and impressive for current and prospective HWS student-athletes.
- Available to work a flexible schedule involving early mornings,evenings and/or weekends as needed.
- Have a willingness to learn and improve as a young professional.
- Performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must be a person of integrity, high ethical standards, have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills. The candidate would ideally have prior weight room experience.
