Registrar Office Student Assistant

Position Title: Registrar Office Student Assistant

Semester/Year: 2026-2027 Academic Year

Total Positions Available: 3-5

Supervisor: Sky Minkoff (they/them)

Pay rate: $16 per hour 

Hours Per Week: 5 to 10

Start Date: August 31, 2026 

End Date: May 2027

 

Description

The Registrar’s Office Student Assistant will perform basic clerical work supporting the Registrar’s Office functions, including customer service, maintaining student records, performing office duties, and other tasks as assigned. The Registrar’s Office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am-5pm. Student Office Assistants will work a scheduled 5-10 hours per week. Federal Work Study students are highly encouraged to apply.

 

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and answer phones
  • File student and office documents
  • Provide general office administration, including copying and scanning of documents
  • Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Students need to be in good academic standing.
  • Applicants should have strong communication, customer service, organization, and time management skills. 
  • Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement and maintain confidentiality.
  • Applicants should be dependable, able to follow directions, and able to work scheduled shifts.
  • Applicants must demonstrate an awareness of and sensitivity to unique social, cultural, and economic circumstances of students.

Students hired into on-campus jobs must complete federal employment paperwork, including the Form I9. Students must present original documents indicating they are eligible to work in the U.S. Photocopies of documents cannot be accepted. Students should ensure they have their documents on campus or have a plan to get their documents to campus if they are hired to work on campus.
