International Remote Internship Program
The Center for Global Education and Salisbury Center for Career, Professional and Experiential Education are excited to provide students with international experience and opportunities to engage with people from different cultures. While this is in no way a substitute for an in-person experience, a remote international internship can will provide students with an opportunity for intercultural engagement working with people across the globe, helping to prepare you for the global environment you will work in. Students will be placed in internships based on career interests. Locations are located all over the world.
- Junior or Senior status
- Must be in good academic and social standing
- Minimum GPA requirement 2.5 (higher for some placements)
- If you are approved to participate in the Remote International Internship program, it is strongly recommended that you take no more than 3 courses in addition to the internship. Placement periods will vary from approximately 8-12 weeks and may require up to 20 hours per week.
- Students will receive 1 credit for successfully completing a Remote International Internship and related work. It is the responsibility of each student to consult with their academic adviser and appropriate department or program chair(s) to determine whether this credit may count toward a major/minor or address a Goal.
