Senior Class Campaign Co-Chair

Position Title: Senior Class Campaign Co-Chair

Semester/Year: 2024-2025 

Total Positions Available: 2

Supervisor: Dulcie Meyer

Pay rate: $15 per hour 

Start Date: March 18, 2024 

End Date: May 15, 2025

Hours per week: 3-6

 

Description

The Senior Class Campaign Co-Chairs (one Hobart Senior and one William Smith Senior) provide leadership for the student fundraising campaign for the Colleges. The Co-Chairs work with the Annual Giving team to plan solicitation and recognition programs, set goals, grow a senior gift committee, assist with volunteer identification and recruitment, provide direction and recognition for volunteers, and serve as spokespersons for Senior Class Campaign initiatives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the Senior Gift Campaign
  • Build a diverse committee of active senior leaders 
  • Provide leadership and support to Committee
  • Work closely with Annual Giving team
  • Serve as a liaison between the Committee, Advancement Staff, and the administration
  • Organize Senior Gift Campaign committee meetings
  • Represent the Committee at donor functions and network with alums
  • Make your own gift in support of the Senior Class Campaign
  • Ask classmates for gifts and be knowledgeable about its impact
  • Attend Senior Events, and speak, when necessary, at these events

 

Qualifications

  • Member of the Senior Classes: expected graduation date of May 2025
  • Demonstrated leadership skills Ability to motivate and create enthusiasm
  • Belief in philanthropy and a willingness to ask others to support the Colleges
  • Ability to give constructive feedback and make changes as needed
  • Ability to communicate information in a concise and constructive manner
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and creative
  • Proactive, reliable, and dependable
  • Ability to work with others in a team setting and independently.
