Equipment Room Student Assistant for Baseball Facility

 

SUMMARY:

Assist the HWS Equipment staff by supporting the equipment operations with service to all Hobart and William Smith Athletics teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate and execute laundry service for athletic teams.
  • Assist with game day setup of uniforms and equipment for a variety of teams.
  • Demonstrate a sincere interest in the personal, academic and athletic progress of student-athletes.
  • Exhibit supportive and cooperative behavior to assist sport programs in pursuing their goals.
  • Efficiently and effectively complete tasks assigned by the HWS Equipment staff.
  • Be security conscious and mindful of privacy concerns at all times.
  •  

SUPERVISOR:  Assistant Athletic Director for Equipment and Operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Prior work experience required. Background in athletics, inventory management or laundry service a plus. Preference for a candidate who is interested in pursuing a career as an athletic equipment manager. 

 

The candidate must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.  The position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidate must have a flexible schedule and be able to work nights and weekends. cunningham@hws.edu
